Lost

Lost by April Gerard
written on 6-8-2010

Trembles
these hesitations,
finding
the way
it moves.

Truthful
yet obligations,
seep
the tone
infused.

Terrified
remnants open,
taken
the voice
of muse.

Turned
many directions,
lost
the sound
of you.

Tallied
youth generations,
told
the lost
anew.

Obligations are sometimes self-induced. Perhaps, self-assumed as well. Hesitations arise when one is not sure OR not confident about finding something one has been seeking for long because of their respective experiences. If compromises on one's self is made, they are bound to lose their true self.

Be honest to yourself, take time for yourself, clear away the clouds that unclear your thoughts, and think rationally.
