Eating my own words

As we talked today and grabbed some lunch, Hailey made an interesting observation of me:

"So, what you're saying is that its o.k. for you to worry about your friends and those you care about, but its not o.k. for them to worry about you?"

Hmmm. Guess I'll have to chew on that one for a while.

Clay,
Yes, I have been thinking alot about her words and I am trying Clay, truly I am. Thank you dear.

Shadow,
Yeah, she's pretty good at pointing out things I should reconsider. In the same conversation, she also asked me where do I find my peace in the midst of all my turmoil.

Reasons to Be Cheerful 1,2,3,
Glad you could pop in!

Breeze,
Yes,it was wise of her to point it out to me. I've learned many things from Hailey and I suspect I'll continue to learn things from her as our friendship grows.

Wow. So often something is said to us that just really makes us stop and think. I am glad you shared that sentence. I hope it opens new doors for you. :)

we want to protect the ones we care about by not burdening them with our problems. But by doing so we're stealing their opportunity to support someone they love. If you care for them, let them help you.

You care so much about others that you don't want them to be held back from you. Realize, though, that you and your genious only help us all to move forward. I come back to your writing everyday--because I care and because I learn.
